Student Scholarships

The Organizing Committee of the VI Ibero-American Symposium on Organic Chemistry (VI SIBEAQO) is pleased to offer a limited number of registration scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students wishing to attend the Symposium.

These scholarships will cover the full registration fee, including three nights of accommodation at Solanas Punta del Este Hotel, breakfast, lunch box service, full access to all scientific and social activities of the Symposium, and the opportunity to present one abstract.

Students interested in applying are invited to complete the following application form. Applications will be evaluated by the Organizing Committee based on the information provided in the application.

Scholarship applicants and Early Bird registration

Please note that the Early Bird registration deadline may fall before the results of the registration scholarship selection are announced. Students who apply for a registration scholarship but are not selected will still be eligible to register at the Early Bird rate.

For this purpose, the Early Bird registration fee will remain available to unsuccessful scholarship applicants for 15 days following the official announcement of the scholarship results. This provision is intended to ensure that students who applied for a scholarship are not financially disadvantaged by the timing of the selection process.

Further instructions on how to register at the Early Bird rate will be provided to scholarship applicants together with the results.
