Transportation from Carrasco Airport

Public transportation

Two intercity companies, COPSA (Línea Este) and COT, run Montevideo-Punta del Este. They pick up at the airport and take the Interbalnearia past Portezuelo/Solanas. Ask the driver to let you off at the Solanas stop. Plan on about 1 h 30 to 1 h 50 from the airport to Solanas.

The fare is about UYU 500 per person. You can buy the tickets on the bus or online at COT, COPSA Línea Este or Urubus

Transfer

Transfers are available between Carrasco International Airport (Montevideo) and Solanas, in both directions. Rates are per vehicle, per one-way trip, and are the same for the outbound trip.
